CER İSTANBUL
İstanbul, Türkiye
Located in the historic coastal district of Yedikule—one of Istanbul’s most established settlements—Cer Istanbul has been realized in the southwestern part of the Historic Peninsula, in the area historically known as the “Golden Gate,” on a land of approximately 41,000 m² along Kennedy Avenue. The project is situated behind the Yedikule Fortress and offers panoramic views of the Princes’ Islands and the sea, with 558 meters of frontage on Kennedy Avenue.
Inspired by the Cer Workshops, where railway vehicle maintenance and repair activities were carried out within the Yedikule Railway Facilities dating back to 1871, the project has been designed in line with the principles of respect for time, people, and history. Embracing a horizontal architectural approach that respects the historic silhouette of Istanbul, the development consists of 10 blocks—5 of which are restored listed heritage buildings and 5 newly constructed structures—with a maximum height of ground plus three floors.
Comprising a total of 116 independent units, approximately 75% of the project area is dedicated to specially designed landscaped spaces. With its strong location advantage and architectural approach that harmonizes with Istanbul’s historic skyline, Cer Istanbul stands as one of the city’s most exclusive residential developments.
